Races for Cure and charity football matches are aimed at supporting women with breast cancer and attracted large number of people, who wanted to contribute to treatment of women with cancer.
Races for Cure in Andijan, Namangan and Ferghana regions attracted over 8,000 people, including doctors, celebrities, athletes, business, students, teachers, and others. As in other regions, the winners were awarded with prizes and certificates. Over 50,000 people watched charity football matches.
Races for Cure and charity football matches, which were held in all regions of Uzbekistan, united 59,000 participants and 163,000 football fans. Overall, 222,000 people attended in the events “In the Name of Life”.
