Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- According to the results of January-June 2022, the volume of exports of fruits and vegetables reached US$449.4 million, in physical terms - 820.8 thousand tons. The growth rate compared to the same period in 2021 amounted to 11.6%.
The largest share in the export of fruit and vegetable products is occupied by grapes (including dried) - 10.9%, tomatoes - 9.4%, mung bean - 9.1%, cherries - 7.4%, cabbage - 7.2%, onions - 5, 2%, peaches - 4.0%, melons and watermelons - 3.6%.
In January-June 2022, the share of fruits and vegetables in total exports amounted to 4.5%.
The main export markets for fruits and vegetables are Russia (36.3%), Kazakhstan (24.5%), China (9.8%), Pakistan (4.9%), Kyrgyzstan (4.8%), Afghanistan (3 .5%), Belarus (2.5%).
