The decision is directed at continuing reforms in communal sphere, improving condition at many-storied houses to modern requirements, carrying out quality repair works and maintenance, ensuring security of citizens.

Tashkent city Council of People’s Deputies approved schedule of repair works at porches of many-storied houses and installation of door locks at entrances. The schedule was not published so far.

The council also entrusted Mahalla Foundation and local district administrations to boost work of heads of houses and porches of many-storied houses.

The decision added that if there is necessity, chairperson of unions of flats’ owners, heads of houses and porches should be re-elected.
