During the meeting, the sides noted that the relations between two nations are developing gradually in all directions, UzA reported. Offices of Prosecutor-General also are developing their relations.
The delegation of Uzbekistan led by Prosecutor-General of Uzbekistan Rashid Kadyrov visited Poland in March 2011. The delegation held talks at the ministries and departments of Poland. The sides inked a memorandum of understanding and cooperation between Higher Educational Courses of Prosecutor-General’s Office of Uzbekistan and State Academy for legal procedures and prosecution of Poland.
Current visit of the Prosecutor-General’s Office of Poland to Uzbekistan is another step for further expanding cooperation in legal sphere between two states.
During the talks at Prosecutor-General’s Office, the guests familiarized with reforms in Uzbekistan in protection of rights of citizens and liberalization of judicial-legal system, main directions of activities of Prosecutor-General’s Office of Uzbekistan.
At the end of the meeting, Prosecutor-General’s Offices of Uzbekistan and Poland signed a memorandum of cooperation.
The delegation of Poland familiarized with Department on fighting with tax, currency crimes and legalization of crime income under the Prosecutor-General’s Office of Uzbekistan. The delegation held talks with the Committee of Senate of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan on legislation and legal-judicial issues, Ministry of Internal Affairs and Supreme Court of Uzbekistan.
The guests also got acquainted with the sights in Tashkent and Samarkand.
