The event was organized by Embassy of India in Uzbekistan and India-CIS Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The event was attended by over 70 companies and firms. The event presented current state of economic development, investment climate and created opportunities at free industrial and economic zone Navoi and special industrial zone Angren, Jahon news agency reported.
President of India-CIS Chamber of Commerce and Industry Bal Ram Saini said that the cooperation between two states are developing gradually in all spheres. Common culture, history and traditions are important factor for strengthening of bilateral trade-economic relations, he said.
Former Indian envoy to Uzbekistan Skand Ranjan Tayal said Uzbekistan created favourable investment environment, necessary preferences and benefits for foreign entrepreneurs.
Former diplomat said Uzbekistan, as perspective regional partner, offers attractive investment climate, developed infrastructure, mutual beneficial projects and high skilled labour resources. Indian businesses should effectively use these opportunities, he added.
President of medical company Medanta Naresh Trehan said that medical tourism is developing fast in Uzbekistan. He highly rated healthcare system of Uzbekistan and Indian side is optimistic for future cooperation with the Uzbek counterparts.
