Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The first bus technical flight, which departed this morning along the Ferghana-Samarkand route, will transit through the city of Khujand in the Sughd region of Tajikistan, Dunyo news agency reported.

According to the Ministry of Transport, a Yutong brand bus belonging to the Uzautotrans service enterprise departed from the Ferghana bus station. As its first passengers, officials of the Department of Transport of the Ferghana region of the department, as well as a group of activists and representatives of the older generation of the region will be delivered to their destination.

The distance of the route Ferghana - Samarkand is 618 kilometers. According to calculations, it takes 12 hours and 50 minutes to overcome it.

In the near future it is also planned to launch a bus service on the intercity route Gulistan - Kokand, connecting the center of Syrdarya region with the Ferghana Valley through the territory of Tajikistan.
