Asia Alliance Bank Secures US$15 Million Financing from OeEB

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Asia Alliance Bank has secured a financing line worth US$15 million from the Austrian Development Bank (OeEB), becoming the first commercial bank in Uzbekistan to cooperate with this European development institution.

The transaction was structured with the assistance of the international company EMGA.

The attracted funds will be allocated to support micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises in Uzbekistan. In particular, the financing will be directed toward green projects, initiatives supporting women entrepreneurs, and long-term programs aimed at business expansion and job creation.

The bank noted that cooperation with OeEB will help expand entrepreneurs’ access to international financial resources and support the sustainable development of small and medium-sized businesses in the country.
