At the meeting, the sides exchanged opinion on the Uzbek-Irish relations, including interaction in bilateral format and Uzbekistan-EU format in context of presidency of Ireland in the EU, the Uzbek ministry said.

The sides also discussed proposals on further development of cooperation in political-diplomatic, trade-economic, investment and cultural-humanitarian spheres, implementation of mutual beneficial projects in various areas.

The sides supported proposals on continuing practice of political consultations between Ministries of Foreign Affairs and contacts among business circles of Uzbekistan and Ireland.

At the meeting, the sides considered other issues of mutual interest.
