Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation of Uzbekistan, consisting of employees of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the leadership of the Tashkent State Agrarian University and the Gallaaral Technical College in Jizzakh region is paying a visit to the United States of America.

The next destinations on this trip were the State Center Community College District and Fresno city college in California. Our representatives, having familiarized themselves with the activities of the center and the technical school, received from the host side information on the development of a curriculum for short-term training and an analysis of the demand for specialists in the labor market.

An agreement was also reached on establishing cooperation between Fresno City College, which currently has 60,000 students, and the Tashkent State Agrarian University.

Also, our representatives, who visited the agricultural laboratories, got acquainted with the technology of freezing vegetables and fruits.

During the trip, representatives of the agro-industrial complex of our country visited the private canine center "Canine Detection Services". There were presented information about the training of dogs to search for various harmful insects in agriculture. In practice, they are used on the border with Mexico.
