The depository said about 1,214 public companies were founded on the bases of state enterprises. They issued 2.198 billion shares for 3.427 trillion soums.

About 388 public companies were formed on voluntary bases and they emitted 1.976 billion securities for 1.816 trillion soums, the depository said.

The depository said among 1,719 public companies are 32 commercial banks. The banks issued 1.685 billion shares worth 1.113 trillion soums.

Seven investment funds emitted 5.3 million shares for 1.127 billion soums, the depository said.
