Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 29 August this year, the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade organized a press conference on the results of the "Open Dialogue" held on 22 August between the Head of State and entrepreneurs.

The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade Bakhtiyor Rakhimov, Business Ombudsman Dilmurod Kosimov, First Deputy Chairman of the TPP Islom Jasimov, media representatives of the republic, bloggers.

During the event, it was noted that holding an annual “Open Dialogue”, initiated by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, is the result of raising entrepreneurship in our country to the rank of one of the priorities of state policy aimed at creating broad opportunities for entrepreneurs, providing them with constant support, and solving their problems. problems, creating a favorable business environment in the country.

Measures taken in preparation for the Open Dialogue were announced. In particular, the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade, together with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, created a "Call Center" and the Republican Headquarters for the collection and analysis of entrepreneurs’ applications. During the work of the Headquarters, more than 12 thousand appeals were received, 85% of appeals have been resolved positively to date.

Preparations for this year’s Open Dialogue were organized on a completely different level. On 17-18 August, the "Week of Dialogue with Entrepreneurs" was held with panel sessions on 9 most relevant topics, which were attended by more than 50 heads of ministries and departments, as well as 15 foreign experts. More than 3,500 entrepreneurs from central and regional studios also took part in an interactive form. 531 entrepreneurs had the opportunity to voice their problems, more than 60% of which were resolved directly during the sessions, and a Roadmap was developed for the rest.

Also this year, within the framework of the “Open Dialogue”, at the initiative of the Head of State, 5 entrepreneurs were awarded the “Mehnat Shuhrati” order, 11 entrepreneurs - the “Dustlik” order, 13 - the “Shuhrat” medal. In addition, the “Active Entrepreneur” sign was established, awarded to the best 100 entrepreneurs, and it was proposed to establish the honorary title “Honored Entrepreneur of Uzbekistan”.

During the press conference, the speakers detailed 87 initiatives put forward by the Head of State in 5 priority areas.
