Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- From 4 to 23 July, an online seminar was held on the development and management of scaling and modernization of agriculture, within the framework of which a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between SUE TUPROQSIFATTAHLIL and the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS).

The participants of the seminar from Uzbekistan were specialists and leaders of the State Unitary Enterprise "TUPROQSIFATTAHLIL", and from China - specialists from the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS). During the seminar, it was decided to cooperate with the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences in order to study China’s experience in the field of soil science in the following areas:

In the field of digitalization to introduce Chinese geoinformation technologies and soil monitoring, as well as remote sensing technology;

Organization of short-term practical training programs for personnel in the field of soil science, agrochemistry (fertilizers, mineral fertilizers), food analysis, testing laboratories in China;

Exchange of ideas on grant projects within the framework of international cooperation in the field of scientific research and joint participation in projects of international donor organizations.

The Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences is one of the leading research institutes in the world in the field of agriculture and soil science. There are 8 disciplinary clusters in the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, which include agricultural resources and the environment.
