Sector of consumer goods production led in terms of the share in total turnover. The sector attained 67.8% of total turnover in the reporting period.
Enterprises of Tashkent city were popular among investors. The share of Tashkent city enterprises in total turnover comprised 79.4% or 7.46 billion soums. Bukhara and Kashkadarya followed Tashkent city.
Total turnover of the UzSE comprised 9.392 billion soums in 2009. Overall 544 deals with 3.881 million shares were recorded in 2009.
IPO market turnover comprised 2.3 billion soums (25.1% of total turnover) and the secondary market - 7 billion soums (74.9%).
