Uzgeoburneftegaz increases net income up to 15.63bn soums in 2010
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzgeoburneftegaz (Uzbek Geology Oil and Gas Mining) joint stock company increased net income from 316.74 million soums in 2009 to 15.63 billion soums in 2010, the annual report of the company said.

Main figures of Uzgeoburneftegaz activities in 2010 are growth of oil, gas and condensate reserves, execution of geophysical works, quality and quantity of objects, prepared for deep drilling, volume of prospect drilling, launch of prospect drilling at new areas, etc.

The company said it increased natural gas reserves by 50.1 billion cubic meters and oil with condensate by 3.5 million tonnes due to opening new fields (Savatli, Nomozboy, Jayhun) and fields under development (Ilim, Doston, Chilkuvar, Supali, Qoshimcha, Yangi Karatepa, Shagirlik, Shimoliy Berdak and due to recalculation of reserves of Kulbeshkak, Tandircha and Dayahatyn).

In the reporting period, three new fields Jeyhun, Savatli, Namazboy in Bukhara-Khiva region were opened. The company carried out 2D geological survey at 10,000 km and 3D geological survey at 1,639 square meters.

Revenue of the company grew from 388.77 million soums in 2009 to 553.63 million soums in 2010. Expenses of the company made up 16.51 billion soums in 2010 compared to 15.13 billion soums in 2009.

Other income of Uzgeoburneftegaz grew from 15.14 billion soums in 2009 to 33.99 billion soums in 2010, the company said.

The assets of the company made up 66.42 billion soums in 2010 against 103.49 billion soums in 2009. The charter capital reached 3.09 billion soums.
