The presentation was organized in cooperation with German Management Academy of Lower Saxony (DMAN), Union of Central and Eastern Europe (OMV), Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Berlin (IHK Berlin) and German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ).

Representatives of German business circles, managers of companies, engaged in food, textile and car industry of Uzbekistan, studying in Germany, participated at the event.

Participants of the event familiarized with achievements of Uzbekistan, modern economic development of Uzbekistan, created conditions for foreign investors and opportunities on creation of investment projects, as well as State Programme “The Year of Small Businesses and Private Entrepreneurship”.

Uzbekistan is industrial center of the Central Asian region and has dynamic industries and growing consumer markets. Uzbekistan carries out concrete measures on modernization and re-equipment of production capacities, directed at creation of high-technologic and export-oriented products.

The event presented a programme of priorities of industrial development for 2011-2015, envisaging implementation of over 500 projects for US$50 billion.

The event also included presentations of firms and companies of Uzbekistan, which specialize in production of consumer goods, textile and sewing industry, food industry, etc.
