Head of the bank said that Qishloq Qurilish Bank and interested bodies are developing a draft of the resolution, which will set the volume of construction of habitation in rural areas and external engineering communication and infrastructure objects.

He added that the document will also determine source of financing. He said that currently the work is underway to form preliminary fees and determination of areas for construction.

Shukhrat Tashmuradov recalled that Uzbekistan will build 7,400 units of houses (1.08m square meters) with total cost of 576.5 billion soums at 335 districts in 157 rural areas of Uzbekistan.

According provided data, currently, 4,000 houses on standard projects have been prepared for commissioning.

Some 753 contract organizations were selected to construction of houses and the bank finance the construction. The bank issue 452.5 billion soums to these contract organizations based on their work.

Some 368 million soums of used resources or 63.8% due to preferential mortgage loans and other part for 208.5 billion soums fell to share population resources.

He added that Uzbekistan constructed 847 houses on standard projects in 42 rural areas in 2009 and some 50.7 billion soums were spent to them. The bank issued 31.5 billion soums to house construction.

Qishloq Qurilish Bank chief said some 6,800 houses with total area of 810,500 square meters in 225 districts in 159 rural areas were constructed in 2010.

About 174.4 billion soums of own resources of the population were directed to the construction, of which 107.2 billion soums as preliminary frees and the bank issued 254.5 billion soums of soft loans. The growth rate made up 8 times compared to 2009.

Shukhrat Tashmuradov said that Qishloq Qurilish Bank is issuing soft loans to population for construction of habitation on standard projects. He said that the bank issues loans for 15 years with six months of grace period at the interest rate of 7% APR.
