Uzbekistan Tax Revenues Rise 24% in Q1 2026
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan’s tax authorities collected 63.6 trillion soums in state budget revenues in the first quarter of 2026, according to official data. This represents a 24% increase compared to the same period last year.
The largest share of revenues came from corporate profit tax, which totaled 20.4 trillion soums, up 43% year-on-year. Significant growth was also recorded in value-added tax (VAT) collections, which reached 12.5 trillion soums, an increase of 27%.
Personal income tax revenues amounted to 10.7 trillion soums, rising by 15%. Payments from subsoil use tax reached 6 trillion soums, up 17% compared to the previous year. Excise tax contributed 4.6 trillion soums to the budget, increasing by 1%.
Non-tax revenues, including dividends, state duties, fees, and fines, totaled 3.3 trillion soums.
Land tax revenues reached 2.8 trillion soums, marking a 34% increase, while property tax brought in 2.3 trillion soums, up 11%.
Turnover tax also rose to 0.6 trillion soums. Water resource use tax increased to 0.4 trillion soums, showing the sharpest growth among all categories at 82%.
