Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 13 March, a delegation from Sughd region of Tajikistan led by the Chairman of the region, Rajabboy Ahmadzoda, visited Ferghana region of the Republic of Uzbekistan and took part in the ceremony of starting the construction of the Andarkhon Trade and Logistics Center. 

The khokim of Fergana region Khairullo Bozorov, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdujabbor Rakhmonzoda, entrepreneurs and traders of the regions took part in the ceremony of the start of construction work.

During the speech, the heads of the regions expressed satisfaction with the strengthening of economic and friendly relations, assessed it as the fruit of the policy pursued by the Founder of Peace and National Unity - the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, respected Emomali Rahmon and the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, respected Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The leaders of the regions congratulated the Tajik and Uzbek peoples on the onset of International Navruz and expressed confidence that the Andarkhon Trade and Logistics Center would contribute to the growth of the exchange of goods and products.

The Andarkhon Trade and Logistics Center will be built on an area of 5 hectares, it will house 200 stalls, a bank, a canteen, a cafe, a hotel and a logistics center. With the activation of the center, it will sell products manufactured at the enterprises of the two regions.
