Uzbekistan Finance Minister Rustam Azimov inked a decree “On review of fixed rates of excise taxes for petroleum, diesel fuel and jet fuel” on 10 August 2011. The decree entered into force on 26 August 2011.

In line with the decree, the fixed rate of excise tax for Ai-80 petroleum set at the level of 321,430 soums per tonne and for Ai-91, Ai-92 and Ai-93 – at the level of 353,430 soums per tonne.

The fixed rate of excise tax for Ai-95 petroleum made up 408,890 soums per tonne and for diesel fuel – 273,400 soums per tonne, as well as ECO diesel fuel – 284,250 soums per tonne. The fixed rate of excise tax for jet fuel set at 50,580 soums per tonne.
