Uzbekistan Reports Growth in Sustainable Entrepreneurs
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In the Republic of Uzbekistan, as of 24 April 2026, 2,100 entrepreneurs have been assigned a high sustainability rating. Among them, 335 business entities received the highest AAA rating.
According to official data, 64,400 entrepreneurs are classified as having a medium level of sustainability, 226,200 as satisfactory, and 294,700 as low-rated.
It is noted that since the introduction of the sustainability rating system, the number of high-rated entrepreneurs has increased by 1.3 times, indicating gradual strengthening of the business environment and improved quality of management in the private sector.
The largest number of high-rated entrepreneurs operate in the trade sector, accounting for 690 businesses. This is followed by services with 654 enterprises, industry with 506, agriculture with 106, and construction with 59 enterprises.
By regional distribution, the highest concentration of top-rated entrepreneurs is recorded in Tashkent, where 709 businesses hold high ratings. In Tashkent Region the number stands at 258, in Samarkand Region at 180, and in Fergana Region at 152 enterprises.
