Uzbekistan, Belarus Discuss Energy Cooperation
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan and Belarus discussed expanding cooperation in the energy sector during a meeting held as part of “Energy Week Uzbekistan,” officials said.
Uzbekistan’s Energy Minister Jurabek Mirzamakhmudov met with a Belarusian delegation led by Energy Minister Denis Moroz to review prospects for bilateral cooperation in the energy sector.
The sides discussed potential cooperation in electrification and the development of the electrical engineering industry.
Special attention was given to the exchange of experience in working with international companies and implementing renewable energy projects.
Both parties emphasized mutual interest in further expanding cooperation, introducing modern technologies, and developing joint energy projects aimed at improving efficiency and sustainability in the sector.
