Uzbek Senate, Slovenia Audit Court expand cooperation
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Chairwoman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan Tanzila Narbaeva held talks with the President of the Court of Audit of the Republic of Slovenia Jana Ahčin.
During the meeting, the sides discussed key areas of bilateral cooperation, with particular focus on public financial control. They emphasized the importance of further developing cooperation between the Accounts Chamber of Uzbekistan and the Court of Audit of Slovenia, as well as expanding the exchange of advanced experience and best practices in the field of state auditing.
A separate part of the discussions addressed interparliamentary relations between the two countries. It was noted that cooperation between the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan and the National Council of Slovenia is systematic and constructive.
The parties discussed intensifying the exchange of parliamentary delegations, strengthening the role of parliamentary oversight in the implementation of state programs, and mutually studying each other’s experience in this area.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides confirmed their mutual interest in further strengthening and expanding practical cooperation across all identified areas.
