Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Currently, a delegation from Uzbekistan consisting of representatives of the Hydrometeorological Service Agency, the Research Hydrometeorological Institute and the Research Institute of Environment and Environmental Technologies under the Ministry of Ecology is at the hydrological post of the Colorado River with experts from the Center for Geological US services.

During the visit, USGS hydrologists demonstrated modern methods for automatic and manual processing of hydrological data.

The delegation became familiar with the methods and approaches of hydrological monitoring.

Uzbek scientists and researchers are studying the experience of monitoring, assessing, mapping and targeted scientific research on the impacts on natural resources, ecosystems and environmental protection, climate change and land use.
