New airport building for local flights can serve up to 400 passengers an hour. The airport building has arrival and departure halls, VIP hall, mother and children room, medical point, currency exchange point, restaurant, information desk.

Waiting halls of the Tashkent Airport are equipped with modern heating and cooling systems, which will ensure comfortable temperature at the building.

New building is also equipment with electronic equipment and technical means. Security zone with two control points have been created in front of the airport.

During his visit, President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov interested with state of take-off and landing strip and aircraft parking sites.

President Islam Karimov said that the modern airport building to serve Uzbek population and foreign guests in line with international standards.

It is worth to mention that now foreign guests, who arrive in Tashkent International Airport, can move to new local flights airport building directly after registration procedure. This will create additional comfort for foreign tourists.
