The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said that the sides discussed actual issues of the Uzbek-Italian relations. The sides underlined mutual interest to develop bilateral contacts, including inter-parliamentary relations.

It is expected that upcoming session of the Intergovernmental working group on trade, economy and industrial cooperation will stimulate interaction in trade and investment sectors.

The Uzbek side positively rated activity of Giovanni Ricciulli as the Ambassador and expressed gratitude to his efforts directed at strengthening bilateral relations.

Italian envoy expressed gratitude to the Uzbek side for assistance in his mission in Uzbekistan.
