Three Uzbek children returned from Russia reunited with families

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Three minor citizens of Uzbekistan who had been left without parental care abroad due to the deportation of their parents have been returned from Russia to the country, according to the press service of the Agency for Social Protection.

According to the agency, the children were brought to Tashkent on Tuesday, April 28. Upon arrival, they received initial social and medical assistance, and the necessary procedures related to determining their status and further placement were carried out.

On the same day, the minors were handed over to their parents.

Further support for the children will be provided at their place of residence with the involvement of “Inson” social service centers, which will accompany the families in accordance with established procedures.

According to the agency, since the beginning of the year, the number of minors returned from Russia to Uzbekistan and reunited with their families has reached 43.
