Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers “On measures to retrain personnel in the field of transport and improve their skills, as well as to organize a system of scientific and innovative activities” was adopted.

In accordance with Presidential Decree “On measures for the effective organization of public administration in the field of transport within the framework of administrative reforms,” the Institute for Retraining and Advanced Training of Personnel in the Field of Transport was established.

It was created under the Ministry of Transport in the form of an educational institution on the basis of the Institute for Advanced Training and Retraining of Road Transport Personnel and the Center for Advanced Training and Retraining of Railway Transport Workers of Legal Entities Owning Railway Tracks under the Ministry of Transport.

Now:

- training of personnel in the field of transport will be carried out at least once every three years based on the plan and training programs approved by the Ministry of Transport;

- persons who have completed self-study and successfully passed the exam under the driver training course programs for driving electric vehicles are issued a document confirming completion of the training;

- final exams by state and non-state educational organizations are conducted on a special electronic platform created by the Ministry of Transport.

The document approved the Regulations on the procedure for the activities of the Institute for Retraining and Advanced Training of Personnel in the Field of Transport. Its main tasks:

- training and advanced training of personnel, including teaching staff;

- implementation of the results of innovative, fundamental and practical developments in the field of transport;

- organizing the development and implementation of methodological complexes in the field of transport;

- organization of a system of continuous and professional development of specialists, creation and implementation of a unified electronic platform for monitoring training and educational processes.
