Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Chairman of the Senate Committee of the Oliy Majlis on Budget and Economic Reforms Erkin Gadoev met with a delegation led by deputies of the Committee of the National Assembly of South Korea on Land, Infrastructure and Transport Choi In Ho and Kim Chong Jae.

During the dialogue, the parties especially emphasized that despite the geographical distance, the peoples of Uzbekistan and South Korea have long-standing and strong ties of friendship and mutually beneficial cooperation.

Issues of further strengthening friendship and special strategic partnership between the two countries, expanding trade, economic, investment, cultural and humanitarian ties, especially inter-parliamentary ties were also discussed.

In particular, deputies of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea expressed interest in the active participation of a number of the country’s corporations in the development of road and railway infrastructure in Uzbekistan.

At the same time, the guests thanked for the warm welcome and invited the delegation of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis to take part in the World Exhibition “EXPO-2030”, which will be held in 2023 in Busan, South Korea.
