Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A US military delegation led by the Commander of the Central Command of the Armed Forces, General Michael Kurilla, arrived in Uzbekistan on an official visit.

According to the Ministry of Defense, during the bilateral negotiations, Defense Minister Lieutenant General Bakhodir Kurbanov emphasized that the development of bilateral relations based on equality, mutual trust and respect has reached a new level in recent years.

Also during the meeting, the parties discussed achievements in the military sphere and the possibility of continuing cooperation on issues that are planned to be implemented in the future.

Michael Kurilla visited Uzbekistan in the summer of 2022, shortly after his appointment to his post. In addition to the leadership of the Ministry of Defense, he then met with President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
