Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov held a meeting with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, the Foreign Ministry reported.

The foreign ministers of Uzbekistan and Turkey held a regular meeting of the Uzbek-Turkish strategic planning group, summed up achievements, and outlined short-term and long-term goals.

“We considered the schedule of upcoming top and high-level events, issues of expanding the legal framework of our relations, the progress of implementation of all agreements reached between the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan,” noted Bakhtiyor Saidov.

During the meeting, a Cooperation Plan between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and Turkey for 2024-2025 and a Memorandum of Understanding between the Diplomatic Academy of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey were signed,” noted Bakhtiyor Saidov.
