Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The car number plate 01 777 RRR was sold at auction for 893.97 million soums (US$73,300 at the Central Bank exchange rate).

The deal was sealed on 10v. The starting price of the lot was 297 million soums. As a result, this number has become the most expensive for legal entities in Uzbekistan.

Two bidders took part in the online auction. During the bidding, they submitted a total of 49 price proposals.

The auction winner must register the number with the traffic police within 30 days.
