Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 8 April, a ceremony was held in the capital's Yangi Uzbekiston Park to receive the first batch of buses and electric buses produced in the People's Republic of China, intended to upgrade the Toshshahartransxizmat rolling stock.

The solemn event was attended by representatives of ministries and departments, the capital's public, youth activists.

The first batch of buses delivered consists of 233 units, of which 100 are Yutong electric buses, 103 are 12-meter Yutong CNG buses, and 30 are KingLong super-large buses.

On behalf of the President, in order to optimize the work of public transport, it is planned to import 1,000 new buses to Tashkent. Thus, work on enrichment of the bus fleet of the capital will be continued.
