The committee said that it received 1,042 applications (660 in 1H 2010) and 2,285 over telephone (1,578 in 1H 2010) in the first half of 2011.
The committee added that 49.5% (38.2% in 1H 2010) of application, received in written form, were related communal sector, 29.4% (32%) to trade and catering, 10.4% (13.3%) to transport, communication and electricity services and 10.7% to other sectors.
The committee considered all applications and in the result of inspection, some 416.7 million soums were returned to the consumers (180.8 million soums in 1H 2010).
State Demonopolization Committee underlined that 30.4% of applications, received over phone, related to violations in communal sector (36.4% in 1H 2010), 42.3% - catering and trade (41.8% in 1H 2010) and 9.8% - to transport and communication (17.2% in 1H 2010).
The committee returned 48.4 million soums (11.9 million soums in 1H 2010) to consumers, which addressed via telephone.
