Fund Forum, Women’s Council, Association of fashion designers of Uzbekistan “Osiyo Ramzi”, Uzbekistan Art Academy, Association of silk breeders and silk producers “O’zbekiston Ipagi” organized the event.

The event was attended by about 250 teachers and tutors, working in universities, colleges and schools of Tashkent city. Overall, 500 people participated in the festival.

It was noted that the main goal of the festival is to involve youth to national values, preserve and promote cultural heritage, traditions and customs.

During the festival students of Tashkent Institute of Textile and Light Industry and the winners of National talented youth contest “Kelajak Ovozi” presented 14 collections of clothes from han-atlas.

At the event, the organizers handed over congratulation cards on the behalf of the chairperson of the Organizational committee of Women’s Council Gulnara Karimova.

Uzbek celebrities Rayhan, Nilufar Usmanova, Sato, Aladdin and Tantana presented their songs and dances to the participants.

Gulnara Karimov congratulated teachers and tutors with their professional holiday. She also said that some of the collections will be shown at National Costume Festival.
