Share of small business in Ferghana region’s GRP makes up 46.5%

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Ferghana region of Uzbekistan is conducting huge work on developing small businesses and private entrepreneurship and supporting them.

In line with the state programme “The Year of small business and private entrepreneurship”, the region issued 412.8 billion soums and US$28.7 million to development of the sector.

The commercial banks also allocated 100 billion soums of loans for development of the sector, UzA reported.

In the result, share of small businesses in gross regional product of Ferghana region made up 46.5%.
