Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- At the forty-fifth plenary meeting of the Senate, in accordance with Article 93 of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Article 8 of the Constitutional Law “On the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan”, the issue of electing the Deputy Commissioner of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan for human rights was considered ( ombudsman).

At the plenary meeting, according to the votes cast by the senators, Bekzod Narimanov was elected to the post of Deputy Commissioner of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

In this regard, a Senate resolution was adopted.
