The project is the result of signed memorandum between Uzbekenergo state joint stock company and Korea’s Semyung Electric. The Korean installed the station for free of charge.
It is worth to mention that high effective model at construction of solar power station. One list of model produces 390 watt of electricity and total capacity is 3.2 K.W.H.
Uzbekenergo and Semyung Electric hope that this solar power station, installed at the university, will serve as vivid educational manual for students and future specialists and help to mass introduction of alternative power sources in various sectors of economy.
Uzbekistan has great potential in solar energy. Large part of the year in Uzbekistan is sunny and the country has silicon. Uzbekistan can become leader in solar energy and export electricity to other countries of the CIS.
