For optimal planning of social policy, the khokimiyat of Tashkent conducted a survey of the population on the topic of welfare. It was attended by 1,606 men and women, representatives of different age groups from 12 districts of the city. Most of the respondents (56.2%) have higher education, are employed (58.5%) in government agencies (21.3%), the service sector (16%) and in production (14.8%).
