Representatives of Supreme Courts of Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyz Republic, Russian Federation, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan participated at the event.

Meeting of SCO Supreme Courts chairpersons is consultative mechanism of interaction in judicial-legal sphere.

During the session, the participants exchanged experience on improving mechanisms of counterbalance in the law enforcement and judicial bodies, introducing reconciliation institute in legal procedures, liberalizing criminal and criminal-procedural legislation.

Participants confirmed their intention to continue cooperation among judicial bodies, exchange of legal acts, materials of judicial practice and other information.

At the end of the meeting participants signed a joint statement on perspectives of cooperation among supreme courts of the SCO.
