Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Government resolution approved the Regulation on the procedure for the formation and maintenance of a register of importers of certain types of goods of international brands on the basis of a direct agreement concluded with brand owners or their authorized suppliers.

According to the Regulation, for inclusion in the register, the applicant sends an application to the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade.

Also, the following documents are attached to the application:

documents confirming that the applicant is the owner of the brand or an authorized supplier of certain types of goods of international brands;

direct import contracts for the supply of products;

documents confirming the quality or safety of the goods;

preliminary information about the country of origin.

The application is considered within 20 working days from the date of its receipt.

The certificate on the entry of the applicant and goods of international brands into the Register is issued for a period of 1 year.

The amount of payment for consideration of an application for inclusion in the register is calculated in the amount of 0.8 percent of the amount of each import contract, for additional agreements - from the amount of an additional agreement, VAT on this amount is charged separately.

For reissuing a certificate, a payment of 5 sizes of basic estimated value (1.5 million soums) is charged.
