Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Rustam Minnikhanov, the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan, visited the Chirchik Chemical Industrial Technopark during his working visit to Uzbekistan.

During the visit, Rustam Minnikhanov familiarized himself with the activities and infrastructure of the technopark. Together with the Minister of Energy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Jurabek Mirzamakhmudov, he toured the production facilities, held meetings with resident company representatives, and discussed the prospects for new projects.

Currently, 27 resident companies are registered in the technopark, with total investments amounting to $147 million. Of these, 19 enterprises are already engaged in production activities.

By the end of 2024, the technopark's residents produced goods worth $16.7 million, with 52% of the total output exported. Since the beginning of 2025, the volume of production has reached $7 million.

Opened in 2022, the Chirchik Chemical Industrial Technopark has become one of the key components of Uzbekistan’s chemical industry and continues to actively develop, strengthening the country’s position in the regional chemical-industrial sector.
