Qatar’s Thirty-Five Group Explores Investment in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan’s Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade Laziz Kudratov held talks with Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah, founder and chairman of the Qatari investment holding Thirty-Five Group.

Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah previously served as Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Minister of Defence of the State of Qatar.

The company he leads is an international investment holding operating in real estate, infrastructure, energy, industry, mining, and advanced technology sectors.

During the talks, the sides reviewed opportunities to expand investment cooperation and attract long-term capital into Uzbekistan’s economy.

Discussions focused on joint projects in energy, logistics, education, chemical industry, geology, and mining. The Qatari side was presented with a range of promising investment proposals for further consideration.

At the end of the meeting, representatives of Thirty-Five Group noted Uzbekistan’s strong investment potential and expressed interest in developing practical cooperation.

The two sides agreed to continue working on advancing joint initiatives.
