Qanot Sharq expands its fleet with seventh airbus aircraft

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A ceremonial reception for the new Airbus A330-200 was held today at Tashkent International Airport, marking the addition of this aircraft to the fleet of Qanot Sharq. The plane arrived from Antalya, and its arrival is a significant event for the Uzbek airline.

"We are pleased to welcome the new Airbus A330-200 to our family," said Moses Pak, General Director of Qanot Sharq. "This aircraft will allow us to expand our route network, increase the number of flights, and offer passengers an even more comfortable journey."

The new A330-200, which accommodates 268 passengers, is designed for long-haul flights. It is expected to operate three flights per week to Thailand and Vietnam, as well as routes to Turkey and Saudi Arabia.

In the future, Qanot Sharq plans to open flights to Warsaw, Paris, Madrid, Bangkok, Bali, and other cities, including Beijing and Shanghai.

"The expansion of Qanot Sharq’s fleet will enhance the quality of service and improve the level of comfort for our passengers," Moses Pak added.

As of today, Qanot Sharq officially operates seven aircraft: two Airbus A320s, two Airbus A321 Nego, and three Airbus A330s.

The new aircraft is equipped with modern entertainment systems, comfortable seating, and ensures a high level of comfort for passengers during the flight.
