Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 1 April, Minister of Economy and Finance Sherzod Kudbiev received representatives of the delegation headed by the Regional Director of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) for Central Asia Zsuzsanna Hargitai.

During the conversation, additional opportunities created for the private sector and the current status and future plans of projects implemented jointly with the EBRD were discussed. In particular, further steps to develop and approve the strategy of small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as the continuation of reforms that contribute to the development of the economy were considered.

In addition, issues were discussed on further steps in the development of the capital market and priority plans for improving technical features and increasing the efficiency of ongoing projects in the field of PPP.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue joint cooperation in the above areas and expand the scope of mutually beneficial projects.
