Embassy of Uzbekistan in Kazakhstan organized the event in cooperation with tourism agencies Asta Travel (Kazakhstan) and Miramax Travel Management (Uzbekistan) at support of Kazakhstan Tourism Association (KTA), Uzbekistan Havo Yollari and Air Astana.

Representatives of diplomatic corps, accredited in Kazakhstan, tourism agencies, KTA, Kazakh mass media participated in the event, Jahon news agency said.

At the event, it was said that Uzbekistan is one of leading tourism countries. Uzbekistan adopts measures to develop tourism, reconstruct monuments and historic buildings, creates necessary conditions for tourists.

A video film on tourism, recreation and investment potential of Uzbekistan was shown at the presentation. Main attention was paid to historic cities as Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva and Shakhrisabz.
