Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The next round of political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Turkiye took place in Istanbul.
The delegations of the parties were headed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Muzaffar Madrakhimov and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkiye Nuh Yilmaz.
During the negotiations, the sides discussed the current state of Uzbekistan-Turkish cooperation and prospects for its further development. Special attention was paid to accelerating the implementation of agreements reached during the meeting of the intergovernmental joint commission, as well as the formation of the agenda of high-level dialogues.
The delegations also reviewed the issues of developing cooperation in the political, trade, economic, investment, cultural and people-to-people spheres, as well as strengthening inter-parliamentary relations.
