Official visit of the President of Uzbekistan to Hungary begins

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and his wife arrived on an official visit to Budapest on 3 October.

At the international airport named after Franz Liszt, the state flags of Uzbekistan and Hungary were hoisted to meet the head of our state, and a guard of honor was lined up.

The leader of our country was met by the Minister of Economic Development of Hungary Marton Nagy and other officials.

The main events of the summit are scheduled for tomorrow, 4 October. There will be a meeting with President of Hungary Katalina Novak. Then President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Prime Minister Viktor Orban will hold talks in a narrow and expanded format. As a result, a solid package of bilateral documents is expected to be signed.

The visit program of the head of Uzbekistan also envisages a "round table" with the heads of leading companies and financial structures of Hungary.
