Deals worth about 3.6 billion soums were concluded on the e-logistics trade portal
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In January-May 2022, 2,781 contracts were concluded on the logistics portal e-logistika.uzex.uz of the Uzbek Republican Commodity Exchange for a total of 3,589 billion soums.
As a result of the formation of a healthy competitive environment among carriers on the portal, buyers of exchange goods saved 241.9 million soums. In other words, as a result of trades conducted on the principles of transparency, the average prices formed for the transportation of goods decreased by 6.3% relative to their starting price.
The largest number of applications for transportation was submitted for such goods as mineral fertilizers, animal feed and polyvinyl chloride, a total of 113 thousand tons of goods were delivered to buyers. At the same time, cargo vehicles covered 500 thousand kilometers.
The largest transactions on the logistics portal were concluded in the city of Tashkent (730 million soums), as well as in Ferghana (548.8 million soums) and Bukhara (531.1 million soums) regions.
Currently, 2,041 freight companies, 2,145 customers and 7,953 vehicles are registered on the exchange's logistics portal.
