Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 27 November 2021, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov, who is in Ashgabat to participate in the meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization for Economic Cooperation, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hussein Amir Abdollahian.
During the talks, the sides discussed the state and prospects of bilateral relations in various directions. Particular attention is paid to the interaction of the two countries within the framework of international and regional organizations.
The issues of implementation of interregional transport and logistics projects aimed at increasing the volume of mutual trade and enhancing trade and economic ties are considered.
The importance of consolidating efforts to resolve the Afghan crisis, as well as providing humanitarian and other assistance to the country was noted.
