Porsche Unveils Cayenne Coupé Electric SUV
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Porsche has unveiled a new addition to its SUV lineup — the Cayenne Coupé Electric, combining a sporty design with a high-performance electric powertrain.
The new model draws inspiration from the iconic Porsche 911, reflected in its sloping roofline and overall body shape. According to Thomas Stopka, Head of Exterior Design at Style Porsche, the плавно descending roofline emphasizes the car’s dynamic character, while the adaptive rear spoiler and integrated glass elements enhance its modern appearance.
Aerodynamics played a central role in development. The drag coefficient has been reduced to 0.23 compared to 0.25 in the standard SUV version, contributing to a driving range of up to 669 kilometers under the WLTP cycle, depending on the variant.
The vehicle measures 4,985 mm in length, 1,980 mm in width and 1,650 mm in height, making it lower than the standard Cayenne SUV. Practicality remains a focus, with luggage capacity ranging from 534 to 1,347 liters, plus an additional 90-liter front trunk. Various rear seat configurations and towing capacity of up to 3.5 tonnes are also available.
At launch, the lineup includes three versions. The base model delivers 300 kW (408 hp) and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds. The S version produces 400 kW (544 hp) with a 0–100 km/h time of 3.8 seconds. The top-tier Turbo version reaches 630 kW (857 hp), with up to 850 kW (1,156 hp) in overboost mode, achieving 0–100 km/h in 2.5 seconds.
All variants feature adaptive air suspension with Porsche Active Suspension Management, while higher trims include Porsche Active Ride. Rear-axle steering with up to 5 degrees of angle is also available.
The model is built on an 800-volt architecture, enabling ultra-fast DC charging of up to 390–400 kW. Standard AC charging supports up to 11 kW, with an optional upgrade to 22 kW.
Inside, the vehicle adopts the Porsche Driver Experience digital concept, featuring a fully digital instrument cluster, a central Flow Display and an optional passenger display. An augmented reality head-up display is also available.
An optional Lightweight Sport package reduces vehicle weight through the use of carbon components and performance-focused elements.
